Anyway... I've been having a go the last couple of days.
Last night I took about 50 photos of my fish and not one of them turned out acceptably. You have to use manual focus, the light intensity is all over the place and then the little darlings won't sit still! I ended up with lots of nice photos of live rock and blurry pictures of rapidly moving fish. More practice needed there!
The other day a rather large tree frog parked itself on the side of the shed.

Frogs can also be hard to photograph as their shiny skin confuses the auto-focus.
I've been really struck the last couple of days by the number of ducks on the lake. There must be hundreds of them, encouraged to breed by the abundance of water. Everywhere you walk by the lake you will hear a rustle of grass then splashing as a disturbed duck family launch to the safety of the water.

I love these two trees in flower next to each other complementing each other in their colourful blooms.

Finally, the wetter season brings a variety of clouds. Last year the sky tended to be plain blue but this year we have more variety in cloud patterns.
