Reflection on Psalm 40:1-11

I was stuck
I was in a mess
No way out.

You can judge me
Say, “It's your own faults.”
Maybe you're right

I prayed and prayed
I called out
“Help me God.”

And He did!
He pulled me out
I was desperate
He lifted me up
Just as I thought
“It's all over”
The Lord came through
He rescued me

Awesome God!
