After all the rain in the region over the last couple of weeks, The Namoi River also known as Narrabri Creek, is flowing rapidly and very high. Despite flooding both upstream and downstream, we are not even at minor flooding here.

The river is about 4 or 5 times its normal width and flowing at about 10 km/hr at the surface.
