This afternoon I wandered down to the creek for a photo shoot, expecting to see lots of birds. No birds, but I did see some very active bees crawling around the ground cover.
Bees are very hard to photograph as they don't stay still for long. Landscapes generally don't move as much. Here are some photos that I took at the creek just on last light.
One of the great things about summer is that the dusk period seems to be extended so that there is lots of opportunity to use the very soft lighting of that time of day.
