Your love O Lord is for ever.

Grass grows season by season
Trees stretch up to heaven
Sun rises and sets day by day
And your love continues

Nightly news numbs minds
Calamity, catastrophe, tragedy
Problems, panic, politics
But your love continues

Lord your love is
like a swimming pool
I faint from heat
but I dive in and revive
And your love continues

Nobody sees you Lord
But you are there
Rulers and leaders strut about
but one day they will bow to you
Your glory fills the earth
even if we miss it
Amidst all the busy-ness of men
Your love continues
For ever.
