O God
sinners and pagans
destroy
rape
pillage
your people
They did it to Israel
Now they repeat their evil
against your church
the holy ones of God
How long O Lord?
How long will you
stand by
How long will you
let your enemies win?
I do not understand
why you let these things happen
But Lord I believe in you
Let your church be strong
your people stand firm
trust in you
May opposition come to an end
Persecution stop
May all who hate your people
Be convicted by your love.
