In this era of ever hotter, drier climate where nothing can possibly survive unless we repent of our sins against Earth god gaia, this was not supposed to happen!
I would have embedded the video into the blog post but I couldn't see how to do it.
I dreamt on Thursday night that we had a flood in Narrabri. The water was over our street and down to the other side of the low level bridge - but you could still drive over it. When I came to Tibereena St though I could get to the pool but down to the RSL and over to Kathy's and Annabel you couldn't pass because the water was scarily deep so I just turned and went home - to get Grant and Bethany and Alex. It was very strange because I don't normally remember dreams
Lois, that's all through the arid and semi-arid country to the west and north-west of us. Much of that water will end up in Lake Eyre which is normally a salt-pan. It's the second time in about 12 months that Lake Eyre has been watered, which could be a once in a generational event.
Things look so beautiful. And it's so nice to see the animals thriving too.
