Some Photos

Last Friday when we were putting up the church Christmas lights, Greg uncovered this frog.

The river is up, following flooding at Tamworth and Gunnedah. The experts are predicting it will peak here below minor flood level sometime in the next day or so. I went for a bit of a look this morning and was surprised at how fast it is flowing. The birds certainly seem very happy with the state of affairs- they were singing and tweeting away as if it were some remote forest. It was very peaceful I thought.

  2. Luckily that doesn't happen too often here! I think we made the amazing discovery years ago that if people stick a banana in their ear it will keep crocodiles away from Narrabri. It's been very effective as we haven't had a croc attack since then :lol:You may enjoy the photo of a camel-drawn shark posted elsewhere.

  3. Yes, great photos - it's amazing how well the frog shot turned out, given the conditions at the time. Unfortunately you haven't captured our favourite part of the river business...when a crocodile floats by :)
