After a break of a few days due to our trip to Newcastle, I decided to venture into the wilds around the lake.
All was going well until I was down past the Rugby Club, there was this fellow lying across the path. :yikes:
I think he was somewhat smaller then the previous ones I've seen. I stopped several metres away wondering if it was dead. A noisy miner bird swooped it twice and it did not flinch. I turned to talk to some ladies who had come up behind me and when I turned back he was heading slowly into the weeds next to the lake.
Maybe I will have to just use the Wii for exercise for a few months!
I found the Wii worked well for exercise when I was there. It even has jogging, and hey, it's a change of scenery to your normal route. :P
ReplyDeleteGoing down past Sus's place seems to be snake and bird free, so I'm not quite locked in yet.
