Today was the start of the last week of the exam season! Today we started the School Certificate exams and did the second last HSC exam (Retail Operations). Tomorrow the SC students will do Maths and Civics after doing English and Science today. I won't be involved with the SC, but will supervise one student, Jordan, doing HSC Business Operations exam. It will be hard work. Jordan used to be one of my Scripture children at Bellata. I hadn't realised that she left there 6 years ago to attend Narrabri High- they grow so quickly, don't they?
We were given a pile of home-grown veggies this morning- silver beet, carrots, zucchini, beetroot. Margaret cooked the zucchini and carrots for dinner, and I cooked then sliced the beetroot for salads etc.
Tomorrow will be interesting. First thing in the morning it's off to the pathologist for a glucose tolerance test and cholesterol tests. A brief stay at home before going off to the afternoon exam. I must find time to prepare for my Scripture lesson- my biggest fear is that I'll forget about it, then wake up on Wednesday morning with nothing ready and no time to prepare. It's never happened in my life that I can remember, but still I have this anxiety!
Blessings
Keith
