Technology has been very frustrating over the last couple of days. My phone has refused to co-operate with VOIP, and the local phone company is archaic in terms of activating SIM cards. My beloved Eee died on Thursday evening so I've had to buy a new laptop- it's an HP net book with a bigger screen and keyboard, but lumbered wtih Windows, which I will fix on returning home. Anyway I can now blog and more easily email. I can't connect to the phone system yet, but may not need to as we have been loaned a phone.
We attended the Ripple Network Church this evening (Saturday) and had a great time there. David, Michael and I gave a short talk each about our experience of relational christianity. Then we went to dinner and got back at midnight! I'm not sure of all Canadians believe in having dinner at 9 pm, but it really is not good for me! We are having a great time developing relationships- the people here are really friendly and just so genuinely caring.
I will try to get some photos posted tomorrow. I also need to tell you about the absolutely awesome people we have met and are meeting. I might do a couple of posts each day- one covering what we are doing and another the people we have met. We'll see how it pans out!
