Strange cat.

Pheebs our cat has lots of personality but at times seems a little short-changed in the brains department.

Sometimes she decides to sleep in the church, and nothing will persuade her to come home. In fact if I try to remove her as I'm leaving the building she will run away and hide.

Last night was a sleep over night. This morning as I unlocked the church, I was surprised that she was not waiting at the door. She followed me into the office and started mewing at me to take her home so she could have breakfast. I told her if she was hungry she could take herself.After 20 minutes of rubbing herself against my legs, she gave up, which was just as well as my allergy was about to break out.

I went home for a cup of coffee and Pheebs ran with me all the way to the front door. I called her to follow me, but it was raining and she didn't like going out.

When I returned a little while later, she roused at me as if to say "How dare you go without me?" Then it was back to the pleading to take her home.

Soon it will be lunch time and she will be demanding tuna, despite still not having had breakfast and not being motivated enough to take herself.
