Today's Photos
Susannah got her proposal today. No not that one! She had to write up her proposal for her third year project which will basically involve training up a group of dancers from the region to perform at an event of some kind early next year. Her passion is to see country kids get the same opportunities to perform at their best level as the city kids get. as I looked through her very excellent presentation (she got a High Distinction), I noticed that quite a few of the photos she had used to give her lecturers a feel for Narrabri looked very familiar. Yes my own daughter downloaded my photos from this blog and printed them off for her presentation. I feel like I've really arrived- students are using my work!
I noticed the racehorse tree at the back of the church has really responded well to the rain and the warm humid weather. I don't think I've seen this many flowers on it for a while. In fact a couple of months ago I was thinking it had come down with Equine Influenza. It seems to have got much better though.
More bizarre is this fungus growing in a plant pot on my back verandah! We don't normally have enough humidity or water in soil anywhere to grow any form of fungus in summer.
