Alex's Birthday

Today Alex turned 5. Apparently this equipped him for some amazing adventures. ...

This afternoon we had to go to the bridge where some black monsters. Luckily the scooter his parents gave him was fitted with I-guns (or is that Eye-guns) which come with I-protectors (or possibly Eye-protectors, who knows?) and power guns which are just the thing for killing the black monsters and other baddies that lurk beneath the bridge.

We went on a wide ranging patrol looking for other baddies near the school. At one stage he declared that I could be the dad and he would be the kid. This apparently entitled him to whine at me: "Daaaad, I wanna go in there. Daaad, why can't I go in there? What's this Dad? Why?"

Later we all got together for a Pizza party followed by cake, candles and ice cream.







So the planet is a safer place thanks to a five year old armed with a scooter and an imagination then fed with pizza and cake.
