I enjoyed playing with the settings on my camera for some sunset shots. Then as the light was just about completely gone, I saw a hawk sitting high in the old gum tree across the creek. I haven't seen a hawk there before- it's normally galahs, cockies and crows.
I came inside renamed the photos and the hawk photos just disappeared. I could see them on the file manager but not in the photo program. Then I tried to up load them to facebook and My Opera and in both cases the flash uploader couldn't see the hawk photos, and I had to resort to the old-style uploaders. Finally I looked back at the file manager- I had cut off the .jpg extensions and clever photo programs couldn't see them!
Anyway here are the photos. The hawk ones aren't the best because I was using maximum magnification and there was so little light.
