Todays Photos

Spent a little time in the garden this afternoon.

The weather at the moment certainly inspires gardening.

I'm in the process of turning the lawn at the front of our house into a more water-efficient garden.

Today I planted some tube-stock lomandra longiflora and which is a kind of reedy edging type of plant (picture at right).

I've also planted some dampiera diversifolia which is a ground cover plant.

When the garden is completed I will get some kind of decorative gravel to provide a good surface for walking on.

The photos above aren't mine, but these are. In our back yard we have a bridal star bush which is currently flowering. I really like this plant, possibly because it just keeps growing without any demands for attention and then rewards you with a reasonably long flowering time.
