There is a flesh-eating virus at work in the Body of Christ, at least that part here in Narrabri.
Some years ago we had a high level of unity amongst the pastors and the churches they represented. We did things together, congregations would visit one another on Sunday mornings, they would give offerings to one another just to be a blessing.
For over a decade, I hosted a weekly pastors' prayer meeting which recently just stopped happening- nobody said anything, they just stopped coming.
Today we had just 4 people turn up at the monthly Ministers Fraternal meeting. At the meeting one person reported that another pastor had taken offence at something said at a combined churches' prayer meeting the month before.
In February 2006, Robert Holmes prophesied that fragmentation would come to the church in Narrabri. At the same time that growth would happen in our fellowship, we would experience a counter-balancing effect of fragmentation. He said that he didn't know what to do with that word because fragmentation is not God's will for His Body- yet this is what he saw was coming.
Please join me in praying that there would be greater love for one another in the Body of Christ in Narrabri
