Tent of Promise Day 2

Yesterday was a great day in the Tent of Promise.

We had the Scripture classes from Years 5 & 6 go through the tent in the morning. We had anticipated about 50 children but the actual number was 70. At the end of the presentation about 48 people, including 3 teachers put their hands up to say they had asked Jesus into their lives.

I don't know how many of those were what you would call genuine conversions, but that many people obviously though seriously about the issues of eternity and seeds have been planted.

I've found over the years that God honours the decisions of children to follow Jesus, even when they don't seem to follow through. Decades later those seeds may come to fruition as the person realises they need to get serious about God.
