National "Talk Like A Pirate Day"

After a long break from being published in the Sydney Morning Herald's Column 8, I cracked it this morning:

More catering suggestions for a Talk Like a Pirate Day morning tea (Column 8, since Saturday): "I think pirates eat rum balls," writes Melinda Sheldon, of Chatswood, while Ian Baker, of Cherrybrook recommends "pizzas of eight". Keith Bates, of Narrabri, is sceptical about the whole notion of a piratical morning tea: "It's a bit hard to imagine pirates taking a break from the looting and pillaging to brew up the Earl Grey and sip from the Royal Doulton," but he concedes they might tuck into a packet or two of Aaarrgghh-nott's Tim-Tams".

I think I've used up my 15 minutes of fame- it's probably up to 25 minutes by now.
