I had a great day off today. The weather was perfect- fine and pleasantly cool and very little wind.
I took the opportunity to spray the winter weeds growing through the grass. In the afternoon I bought some herbs to plant into pots as well as some vegetable seedlings including silver beet, beetroot and tomato plants. The process of planting all of these plants was "helped" by Alex. While it was a bit frustrating having to cope with a very active 5 year old digging and tramping in my vege patch, it was also a source of great joy... I always love having little kids in the garden.
A very renewing day
