Elande thought yesterday's photos were too dark, which was true, due to there being little light. I spent a few minutes GIMPing them and here are the results. I've just adjusted brightness and contrast.
Wonderful results!! You could try using flash too. We tend not to think of it in daylight, if you can get it to work!! Mine will in daylight, but only if I find the glasses, read the manual, twist dials, push buttons, then beg and plead.
I don't think my puny built-in flash would add much at a distance of 20 metres Lois!I took some macros the same day, like your bee photos, and I was sure that the flash should fire automatically but it didn't and I was too worried about the bees stinging my hands to think too much about finding the flash settings. I might have to read the manual too!
