Alex wanted to dress up in the clown clothes. He said he was a scarecrow. Pheebs was very disdainful- as cats usually are.
On my walk I tried to take some photos of birds, including a flock of galahs in flight (very difficult to get right, I'm finding), some indistinguishable birds in a tree, a swan and a peewee.
Alex is so cute, the hair is just too precious!The picture of the cat with the flowers is beautiful!You're getting pretty good with that camera! The bird shots are great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lois! I find the bird shots a bit difficult because they are mostly at a fairly long distance, near maximum zoom and then the arms start to shake- especially the overhead shots. I would love to be able to take more action shots but by the time I point the camera, find the bird in the sky, get it focused etc, the bird's flown too far away! At least with a flock of birds you can count on at least some of them being in the right place at the right time.They say practice makes perfect :)
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly the problem I have, by the time you're ready, the bird is gone. I guess we need to practice focusing more quickly. That's my next goal!
