Reflection on Psalm 77

My God
Where are you?
Do you even hear me?
Do you know my name?

Lord I'm in trouble
My heart is broken-
Will you hear my prayer?

You're so distant
Where are you?
My head says you are near
My heart fears you've left me

I think of better days
The days of revival
The times of visitation.
I think of miracles
The healings I've seen,
the restoration

You don't change Lord
Yesterday, today, forever
Always the same

So I'll trust you
Even if my heart disbelieves
I know you are here
I will not be afraid.
