Reflection on Psalm 62

Lord you are my salvation
my fortress
my safe place.

Sometimes it feels like
I am under siege.
People surround me
and throw rocks
and lies
and insults

People want to pull me down
But you O God build me up.
As long as I trust you
You will hold me up.

Lord you are gracious
you are mighty
Your love and strong hand
Give me peace and confidence always.
