Reflection on Psalm 29

The voice of the Lord shatters mountains
The voice of the Lord thunders over oceans
The voice of the Lord echoes down canyons
and releases avalanches

The voice of the Lord is still, small, silent.
The voice of the Lord soothes my fearful heart
The voice of the Lord brings comfort in trial
and releases me from anxiety.

Who is this mighty Lord
Who shakes the earth
And settles the heart?
