Scripture
Sing praises to the Lord. With all my heart I will thank the Lord when his people meet.
Observation
God truly is awesome- in the real sense of the word. He is powerful and mighty- He created everything with a word and sustains it. He looks after his people- individuals and even whole nations. He rescues us from our own rebellion and stupidity. He feeds us and gives us so much.
Even when we are not faithfu He does not give up on us. He is great beyond measure.
Application
I need to be more thankful to God than I am. Sometimes I feel so discouraged and I need to look beyond the negatives and thank God for the good things in my life.
There are so many things to be thankful for. So many reasons to rejoice!
Prayer
Lord, lift my eyes from the things that I think are wrong and help me to rejoice in the many more things you have given as blessings. Amen.
