Going away

Just a quick note to let everyone know Margaret & I will be going away for a few days, and I own't be blogging much.

We're going to collect the rest of our kitchen and some other stuff, as well as looking at kitchen benches, doors etc. I'm sure Margaret will keep me busy. I'm also hoping to get some exposure to salt water :)

Another God moment happened in connection with doors. Margaret has been looking for some cupboard doors that will match those on the cupboards we already bought as we won't be replacing all the cupboards. She found some that were ideal on EBay, in several batches so she phones the seller to see if we could purchase the whole lot at once. The seller asked for our email and when Margaret gave it to her, she said "Is that like a church or something?" It turns out the seller is the daughter of Arden Burrell who is a legendary AOG pastor who brought a huge revival to the town of Gilgandra. The daughter used to come and do youth work in Narrabri, and of course Arden is related to Margaret Baxter in some way.

Anyway, Margaret went on to explain about what our church is like and what we do. We later received an email from them saying that they love what we are doing and want to meet us, and is it all right if they give us the doors for free?

Much as I hate to admit it, it seems that God is in this kitchen renovation :p
