Community Policing

Great to see the constabulary having a sense of humour.

From Column 8:

"Walking home yesterday afternoon from the bus stop, my 16-year-old son was his usual relaxed self - iPod in one ear, school tie a little loosened and generally pretty happy with himself and thinking about the forthcoming holidays," reports Karen Beck, of Darling Point. "That was until he noticed the police car slowing beside him, seemingly interested in him for some unknown reason. Not only did the car continue to slow, the siren was activated and with no one else in sight it was clearly directed at him. He looked, apprehensively, just as the policeman motioned to him, chuckling, to straighten his tie."
