The creek looked particularly peaceful this afternoon

  1. How beautiful!!! It reminds me of a place in Central Florida, Bok Tower. Things are in the same places. It's somewhere I like to go to relax in a hurry!

  5. Good. Swans bite. Very hard. You don't want them, believe me.

  6. Very true. My sympathy would be with the animal. To kill it would be to end it's suffering. On the other hand, I don't think I really could really kill something. It always comes back to me, even with an insect, that God provided a tiny heart, lungs, liver etc. Who am I to destroy what God has created.

  7. Yeah, I guess. That just leaves us with half a dozen species of venomous snakes and the world's most poisonous spiders!Even the "cute' cuddly" koalas scratch and bite when people try to handle them.Last week I heard a National Parks ranger on the radio telling people how to humanely kill kangaroos and other wildlife if they hit them on the highway. She was saying that you just approach them carefully and if they are severely injured and you are a long way from civilisation hit them hard on the head. A man rang in to say that he once hit a roo and stopped to see if it needed help. The roo got up and grabbed him around the neck and tried to kill him! Nature can be really deadly at times!
