Josh is currently on a school music excursion in Sydney. The excursion involves watching several musicals and doing some shopping.
Just before he left the youth hostel for the evening's performance of "Billy Elliot" he sent this text message:
"As it turns out the Year 12 guys have a sense of fashion. They gelled my hair, made me make my socks look anklet and made me wear a belt."
I hope he got photos with his pda :D !!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteHe took a camera so I'm hoping! This was a very good excursion with performances of "Billy Elliot", "Rocky Horror Show" and "Encore" which is a show made up of the best of last year's Higher School Certificate performances.Josh will be home this afternoon, doubtless with many anecdotes.Meanwhile Susannah is in Adelaide this week at a Dance Festival and then flies back to Sydney on Friday, before driving to Brisbane with a friend for work experience . They will be staying a night here on their way.Sometimes its hard to keep up with everybody.

ReplyDeleteI thought I'd never say this, but "Praise the Lord for mobile phones and text messaging!" It lets you keep tabs on the kids without embarrassing them for having interfering parents.
