There seems to be a storm cell developing this afternoon. In the space of half an hour we've gone from nearly clear sky to almost overcast. It would be nice to have a downpour!
After a rather wet summer, we've had no rain at all in March. Yesterday's storm turned into nothing- one clap of thunder and not enough rain to wet the ground. Oh well, that's life here. They are forecasting "possible" storms and showers for most of the next week, so we're hoping.About 11 years ago there were terrible bush-fires in the Pilliga Scrub, a huge wilderness not far from here, and "experts" were saying there was no hope of containing it. Literally out of the blue, on a day when no rain was forecast anywhere in the state, 6 inches of rain fell on the fire ground and nowhere else! God is still in control of the rain.
Yes, you've been experiencing some dry weather lately, haven't you?
