The Destination of Secularism

Many countries in Europe have abandoned their Christian heritage and embraced the religion of secularism. Heading this charge has been Holland, along with the Scandinavian countries.

The article below, from the ABC, shows the ultimate destination of this movement. It is quite sickening really, but when people cast off the moderating hand of God there is no limit to their depravity.

Dutch paedophiles to launch political party

By Stephanie Kennedy

Paedophiles in the Netherlands are launching a political party to lobby for a reduction in the age of consent from 16 to 12 and to legalise pornography on television.

The Charity, Freedom and Diversity party plans to officially register as a political party in the Netherlands today.

It is calling for a cut to the legal age for sexual relations to 12 wanting to eventually scrap the limit altogether.

The party says private possession of child pornography should be allowed and it will lobby for the broadcast of pornography on daytime television.

Other issues the party plans to take up include legalising sex with animals and allowing people to go naked in public.

The party's program also includes legalising all soft and hard drugs and free train travel for all.

  1. Sigh. I really don't know what to say. I hope Pope Benedict is successful in his re-evangelization of Europe.Actually, I should have a little hope. I was listening to EWTN over the weekend and heard a Knight of Columbus speaking about how the K of C's think that Poland will lead the charge in re-evangelizing Europe. I wish I could find a link, but he pointed to the increase in seminarians in Poland and the country's love of Pope John Paul II. He pointed to how Ireland evangelized Europe in the Dark Ages and how Spain stepped up to the plate during the counter-reformation. It gave me a little hope for my friends across the pond.

  2. Well, let's hope AND pray!I actually do hold out hope for Europe and the West generally. I can't believe that God will abandon us to our sin completely. Just as the gospel has taken a solid hold in so many parts of the world, our culture will also be turned around. Whether it's Poland or missionaries from Africa, or even a sovereign move of God like the Welsh Revival, I know God will turn this world around. In the meantime, it's tragic to see the way our society is going.
