This was in today's Sydney Morning Herald:
"My nephew (aged 6) got caught on Saturday pinching $50 out of Grandma's wallet," writes David Morey, of Bondi Junction. "My sister, really annoyed, took him down to the local police station to freak him right out. They showed him the cells, and told him that with a criminal record he could never become a policeman, a fireman, a lawyer or lots of other things. Then they asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up. 'A used-car salesman' was the reply.They had no answer to that."
