I've just got home from one of the best funerals I've bene to for a long time.
The funeral was for the mother of some people in our church. At 81, she was obviously well past the "spring chicken" stage.
She loved her family and was loved by many people. She had lived a long and fruiful life, at times very hard.
Best of all was that her faith in Jesus was deep and strong. I don't think anyone realised how strong until after she dies when some very strong and love-filled prayers that she had written were discovered.
Joyce truly is a very special child of the Most High God.
One of our friends, her uncle, just passed away. He went for a walk with his wife, came in, sat down.....said...in Chinese...."we have a happy life"......then slumped over and died. He was only in his 40's. Sad for the family, but if your heart is right, what a way to go.....instant. Pam in Henan
