Opera Notes

Opera has this wonderful feature called "Notes". When doing research on a topic it's really easy to copy relevant text and web addresses into a note, combining a whole lot of information into one text document.

This afternoon and this evening I've been doing research on the use of flags and banners in the Bible. I started browsing some web sites on the Eee netbook while half-watching the news. I copied some relevant information into a note.

Later, I was in the office and had a few minutes to do some more searching, as well as looking up some Hebrew lexicons.

The really cool bit is this: Opera had already copied the note from the Eee onto my desktop.

So I added some more information into the note, shut down my computer and went home to watch NCIS. I turned on the Eee and there again was my note updated from the changes I had made in the office.

It was all done without having to save anything- it just happened!

Notes with the synchronization feature really makes Opera a great research tool.
