The Hockey Stick Dies

Part of the Climate-gate whitewash investigation in the UK has at least dealt the death blow to the hockey stick although journalists and Greenpeace will probably be wheeling it out well into the next ice age.

The inquiry, which gave the Climate Research Unit serial liars a good flogging with a three week old celery stick found that the hockey stick graph was produced using "flawed statistical methods"- flawed in the sense of the saying "lies, damned lies and statistics."

It's interesting how the Medieval Warm Period disappeared from the original version so that the late 20th Century Warming appeared more severe, indeed unprecedented.

I'd say that from this information, not much to worry about there.
