The procrastination yarns roll in (Column 8, whenever we get around to it). This one's from Don Nealon, of Taree: "In March 1956, at New Holdsworthy during Nasho training, our section of 5 Platoon was taking an illegal but, we thought,well-deserved breather out of sight (naturally) when Corporal X rounded the hut corner and pounced. 'Wot do youse blokes think yez are doin?' was his challenge. 'Procrastinating, Corporal, sir' came from section leader Ken. 'Right … er, OK … Get on with it then,' and off he marched around the corner. That's the sort of thing you remember."
