Today's Photos

I went for a walk past the Cargill plant this afternoon and found the galahs and cockatoos were EXTREMELY active. There was a feeding frenzy in a paddock set back from the road and thousands of birds all over the place.

One thing that occurred to me was that cockatoos always like to be the top of the roost. They don't seem to mind sharing with other birds, just as long as they get to cling to the twip at the top of the tree. Reminds me of some people I know :)

  2. I think so, although there seems to be a fence separating the two. The galahs would have been attracted by some sort of grain- perhaps the poor horse will be going hungry :(

  3. Well, I expect the farmer is aware of it. I always put out an extra cupfull of feed for the chickens because I know the bluejays steal it.
