Todays Photos
Today, the weeping bottlebrush tree was literally a hive of activity. There were dozens of bees buzzing around, enjoying the nectar in the middle of a very hot day.
Unfortunately they are very hard to photograph because they keep moving. You get one lined up and press the button but by the time the camera has done its thing it has either moved out of focus or flown away completely!

Beautiful tree - nice to see such a vibrant color! The only way I have successfully photographed a bee was on a cold day and one landed on the windscreen of the car.
