Phil's studying film and television techniques at a christian college in Sydney, a Bachelor in Theology of all things. The white balance is a reference to teaching cameras what "white" is in different light conditions. He was disappointed that the "white" on the T-shirt isn't a pure enough white :)
 I've been into movies lately too. My husband builds large saws that cut granite into countertops and for our marketing, I've been taking movies of the saws when finished and putting them together onto a DVD. Also doing the same for some wedding photography. That's why I recognized the white balance reference!
You are a woman of many talents Lois :DMost people just point and shoot and hope the auto balance works. They look very blank when you mention white balance and that little button on the side of the camera that might come in handy sometimes.
Tell Phil I wish him all the best in his pursuits. I'm sure that the things he is learning will be very useful. It seems that there is a lot of film making going on in churches these days and it's a great thing for shut ins. My parents live in Canda and weather doesn't always allow them to get to church, so the church broadcast on TV is very important to them.
Happy Birthday!! Love the T-shirt - white balance here
