Pastors' Prayers

We had an encouraging re-launch of our pastors' prayer meeting this afternoon.

For about 15 years, we have been praying every week for our town. At times we've had nearly all of the resident pastors attending and contributing each week.

Last year it abruptly stopped for no good reason, and I felt that with a new Anglican minister and youth worker in town it was time to start again.

There were 7 of us, representing 6 congregations. Two of the people were lay people representing their currently pastor-less fellowships. The Anglican youth pastor apologised for today, but wants to be involved.

We had a good, cordial time together. I think there is a real potential for establishing love, respect and unity amongst the pastors in town.

I am quietly encouraged o/

  1. That's wonderful. I'm sure great things will come of it.
