You don't often find two news articles in one day that encourage faith in common sense but today was such a day.
Firstly the federal court in Australia told chocolate manufacturer Cadbury that they don't "own purple." What a relief! I've got a couple of pairs of purple undies that I thought I might have to send to Cadbury. Cadbury were trying to sue rival chocolate maker Darrell Lea for using purple in their signage, even though there was no hint that they were trying to pass themselves off as Cadbury. The court, very sensibly, told Cadbury to get on their bike.
European researchers have discovered *shock* that birth date has no influence on personality or intelligence. They surveyed 15,000 people to come up with the astounding revelation that astrology and birth-dates have no bearing on our path in life. They didn't go the next step to say that it's actually God who gives us our personality and directs the paths of our life.
