Worship Today

Our church service today had a particularly warm feeling to it.

Sometimes people come preoccupied with things- worries, anxieties, hurts. When you have a few people like that, it can be very oppressive in the church meeting, because people are focussed on themselves and not on God. I'm not saying that people shouldn't have problems just because they are christians- but these things can impact on our ability to worship. I suppose a decent pastor would pick up on these vibes and deal with them, but usually I don't notice until after the meeting is over.:worried:

Today, I think everyone came with good attitudes- it was so nice! People were talking in small groups before the formalities began. The children were happy and co-operative. Margaret preached a great message about staying on God's narrow path. Everything just worked nicely.

It is just nice to get those Sundays occasionally :)
