Happy Christmas!

We had a wonderful time of fellowship and worship this evening. I am just so blessed to belong to this great congregation of God's people.

We started with a "Living Nativity" outside in our carpark and drinks. Then we moved to worship- still out in the carpark.

I preached on the sign given to the shepherds which just seems so utterly ordinary that it can hardly be thought of as a sign.

"This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

Three things about this sign:

1. God is not religious-- a religious God would have shown up in a cathedral or temple.

2. God is humble-- he doesn't mind what sort of people he hanfs out with

3. God loves you-- he has come down to your level so that he can communicate with you.

Have a happy and blessed Christmas everyone.
