Kookaburra Photos

Yesterday afternoon a kookaburra sat on the grass for quite some time pecking at something on the ground. Kookaburras usually prefer to sit well off the ground, so there must have been something there that was interesting it. After it flew away I looked at where it had been, but I couldn't see any sign of what had so intrigued it. Life's little mysteries.
