The excellent spring conditions have really brought unprecedented blossons to our local trees. Everywhere you go around Narrabri at the moment the indigenous trees and shrubs are glorious. I can't remember a season like it in nearly 20 years of living here... but I do have short-term memory whatsanames from that thngy you know when you aren't young any more. :)
So here are some photos of some flowering eucalypts which I think may be cadgia trees, but I'm a bit vague on the botanical details.
I love the aquatic plants flourishing in the lake at the moment.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers on the eucalypts. I love the aquatic plants too, we used to live on a canal and the plant life was so soothing.
