Reflections on Church Today

Church this morning was a little unusual in that we had mainly women and girls and mainly young children.

One reason for this was that Tim, Joshua and James went to Newcastle to meet up with Sus and Phil. Greg took Matthew to Salamander Bay to look at a camping trailer of similar size and vintage to the one we used to own many moons ago.

I think one of the strengths that we have as a church is that we give people space to be themselves and we try hard not to say "NO!" to people. We had yet another family come along this week with many hurts from misguided religious zealotry. You know it's an accepting church when you let the kid drive the toy car into the "sanctuary" to join in the family input segment-- heh, heh, heh.
