Thank you both!It's easy to take photos like this when the Creator of it all is playing in the sky :)I did try to take a close up of a jet flying overhead but it was too hard to hold the camera steady. I don't have the touch of my eldest son Tim who a few weeks ago said, "See that jet up there- it's a Qantas plane"... he then showed my the photo zoomed in on the distinctive red tail. The plane must have been 2 or 3 km above the ground. I think he was even able to find the registration number. He has a very powerful lens and a very steady hand!
Hello keith For take one photo of the airplane in flying, it´s necessary correct ajust for syncronism with aperture and velocity of the obturator, and one good lens!I learning too! rsrs
Yes Lois I noticed that also. The one I was trying to photograph was closer to overhead. On maximum magification on my lens (48x) it would have filled the frame quite well... if only I could hold the camera steady. :)
