I find sports photos are hard to take, even with the sports mode on the camera which allows repeating shots. I still want to take time to compose the shots. Also I find it hard to anitcipate where the action will be. I took 78 shots and culled them down to 20. I have one great shot of the ball and nothing else, and several shots of the spot where a player was half a second before :)

You got some good shots there! They really convey the action.As you mentioned about having shots of where the players were half a second before - I have a zillion of those shots.
ReplyDeleteFrustrating isn't it? :) I guess that is something that you eventually get the intuition, for want of a better word, or judgement of where the action is going to be. Anyway it was a bit of fun playing with that "sports" setting.
