A number of events tell us that God is saying it's time to get ready-- we're not sure what for! We've been able to clear out a lot of computers we've had taking up storage room and people have been coming and collecting bulky items that were just sitting here, people are coming and going. Today Margaret bought a nifty book-stand from a garage sale that allows us to tidy up the "bargain" section of the bookshop.
So we've been moving things out and things around and more work still needs to be done- but we are confident something good is about to happen.
Here are a couple of photos of flowers from the garden using the macro feature on the camera. I tried to also take some emu bush flowers, but they are quite deep and it's impossible to keep all of the flower in focus... I might have to read up about depth of field in macro shots.
The super-macro feature on the Canon lets you focus right up to the front of the lens. The trouble is that it's very easy to get a great glob of pollen on the lens :D

WOW!!! Excellent shots!! "great glob of pollen on the lens":lol:I understand what you are saying about God saying it's time to get ready. I've been feeling that for a couple of months now. Not sure what we're getting ready for! I keep praying that He won't allow me to make any mistakes in any of this.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lois.I think that if you're just ready for whatever He says to do that's 90% of the battle.I have a friend who says that if the car's moving and God's got his hands on the wheel then nothing else matters. Even if you start out pointing the wrong way, He will get you to the right place. The problems come in when we refuse to move or we keep on demanding the right to steer.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you're right. Thanks Keith!
